The Holiday season is always busy. But with a physical complaint like developing back and neck pain you must make time for it. Although we are in a cold season, applying a cold pack wrapped in a thin towel to the area for 15 minutes and repeated every two hours could greatly help you. This also tends to reduce the number of visits that a patient needs to see me for since pain signalling and inflammation cause the body to compensate poorly.

What can I expect on my first visit to Brentwood Chiropractic?
The first visit can range from 30 minutes-60 minutes. The chiropractor will obtain a thorough history of your current complaint, and past history of similar complaints, and past medical history. A full physical examination will be conducted including orthopaedic tests, muscle and nerve testing. The chiropractor will discuss your diagnosis and advise you on the treatment plan and any home exercises/stretches that may be appropriate for your condition. Treatment will usually be given on the first visit.
